I am seeking information about Mariah Rambo(maiden name unknown). She was born in Montgomery County PA in abt.1840. She moved to Watt Street in Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio in the 1850's where she may have married John Rambo(also born in PA). There she had five children: Emma 1858, Harley 1860, Nora 1863, Alice 1866, and Lizzie 1869 Rambo. If anyone has any info on any of these people please let me know, I have lots of other Rambo info I'd love to share it!

I'm researching our family name, McDavitt and saw a Pickaway County cemetary record for Susannah McDavitt, husband of Levi McDavitt. Also noticed a daughter Mary had died as an infant. I cannot find any info on Levi or what we had assumed to be another child from this marriage, Daniel McDavitt, who we have as being born in Pickaway County, OH on August 31, 1833. Can anyone provide any info? We also have a family history site at: http://www.dallasadmall.com/McDavitt Bill McDavitt

WEBB - Elijah and Abigail. In the Harrison Township (if I remember correctly) Cemetery listing available on various search engines there is a listing for Webb, Abigail, wife of Elijah, died 1845. Does anyone know who they were - children, siblings, parents? Thanks, Vicki

Jane B. TROUT was b. 28 Aug 1834 to Henry (Samuel) TROUT and Abbigail MOORE in Circleville, Pickaway,OH. Although Henry TROUT and Abbigal MOORE had m 25 Dec 1833 in Hocking County, seemed to move to Pickaway and suspect Abbigail MOORE had ties to very early MOORE's in Circleville. Needing parants for both Henry and Abbigail. Abbigail was later m. 2nd to Corneulius MAUK in 1845.

In 1830 Samuel T. PRIOR/PRYOR/PRYER and his wife, Emily, who were living in Pickaway Co., OH were two of the parties of the first part who sold land in Loudoun County, VA. The others were Joel NICHOLS and his wife, Sarah, of Belmont Co., OH and Archibald VICKERS and his wife, Pleasant, of Loudoun Co., VA, and Harman NICHOLS of Loudoun Co., VA. I suspect that the two women, Emily and Pleasant, were sisters and that Joel and Harman were their brothers. Is there anyone researching the NICHOLS family who can help me to identify these people. I do have additional information to share. Thank you

George Teagarden, living in Madison Township with wife Martha Jane (nee Watkins) and son Lewis Rufus in the 1850 census. Ages given census takers: George, 29; Martha 22, Lewis, 2. George listed as born in Ohio. Lewis was my paternal grandmother's maternal grandfather. Seems likely to be a grandson of Aaron Teegarden, but I can't find a connection. Mormon FHC says his middle initial was W and that George and Martha's marriage license was issued by Pickaway Co in 1847. Any help greatly appreciated -- I'm in Dutch because an earlier genealogy had us all the way back to Christian Teagarden in 1650s Germany until I found via the census that the George it listed as Lewis's father was the wrong George.
