TOBIAS posted by Mary Ann Riddell ,at Email: maryannr@infinet.com , on Thursday, December 27, 2001

Where do I write to get a death certificate for Pickaway Co. for the years 1933-1937? I'm searching for a Harry Tobias who died in Pickaway Co. sometime during those years. He was retarded and family information says that he died at the Orient Correctional Institute, which if I understand correctly was a place they kept retarded people before it became a prison. The story goes that he was beaten to death and I'm trying to verify this information. Thanks to anyone for help on this.
