Looking for info on the family of John and Jane (Corder)Edmonds that moved to Pickaway Co. about 1835. While they lived in Pickaway Co. there were three children born to them, Mary S. born Jan.18,1836, Robert R. May 31,1837, and James Madison Nov.23,1839. Sometime before May 1842 the family moved to Illinois in what was then Shelby County, now Moultrie Co. We know they came to Ohio from Virginia, possibly Fauquier Co. Va. We don't know if they were married in Ohio or Va. Any info welcome. Thank you, Roger

The 1850 Pickaway County, Salt Creek Township lists a Mary Windship (age 4) and sister America (?) Windship (age 15). Any information on these two individuals would be much appreciated. At the time they appear to be living with George Whitesell although by 1860 they have disappeared. Thanks!
